Privacy policy

Nothing leaves your phone.

Effective 23 October 2026

AnoLog does not collect, store, share or sell any information about you. Everything you enter stays on your phone. The app makes no network calls of any kind.

What the app collects

Nothing. AnoLog has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising, and no crash reporting. It contains no third-party SDK that sends data anywhere.

What stays on your phone

Your trackers, entries, groups, categories and settings are stored in the app's private storage on your phone. Only AnoLog can read them, and they are deleted when you uninstall the app.

If something goes wrong, the app writes the error to a small text file in its own storage. That file stays on your phone. The app does not send it anywhere.

Reporting a problem

Report a problem in Settings opens a draft email in your own email app. The draft includes the app version, your Android version and your phone model. You see every word before you send it, and nothing is sent unless you send it.

If you send it, I receive your email address and what you wrote. I use it only to reply to you and fix the problem, and I don't share it.

Permissions

AnoLog asks for one Android permission: run at startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED). It lets the home screen widgets redraw at midnight after your phone restarts. The app does not ask for internet access, location, contacts, camera or storage permissions.

Children

AnoLog collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
